Send in your batteries Our Mission Powering a Greener Future The average household disposes of dozens of batteries each year. Most end up in landfill, leaching cadmium, lead, and lithium into soil and groundwater. We're here to change that — one charged cell at a time. Second Life, First Choice A rechargeable battery can be charged hundreds of times. By buying a second-hand rechargeable instead of a new one, you save the energy and raw materials needed to manufacture a brand-new cell. Fewer Batteries in Landfill Single-use batteries account for a significant share of heavy-metal contamination in soil. Keeping rechargeable batteries in circulation reduces the pressure on collection and recycling systems. Honest Testing We don't just charge and hope for the best. Every battery is fully charged and visually inspected before listing. Batteries with visible damage, swelling, or leakage are safely disposed of — never sold. Packeta End-to-End Both sell-in and delivery are handled via Packeta — a well-distributed parcel network across Central and Eastern Europe. Batteries travel from drawer to doorstep with minimal friction. Service Overview Bruncsoft Battery Exchange is an online marketplace for tested rechargeable batteries, operated by Bruncsoft. Batteries listed in the store have been either sent in by customers or sourced by Bruncsoft, then inspected and fully charged before listing. The service operates at batteries.bruncsoft.com . 2. Geographic Availability Both the sell-in service (sending batteries to us) and the sales service (buying batteries from us) are exclusively available in countries where Packeta operates. Orders and sell-in requests from countries not served by Packeta cannot be processed. 3. Supported Battery Chemistry We accept the following rechargeable battery chemistries: Ni-MH / Ni-Cd (1.2 V) — standard AA, AAA, C, D, and similar formats. Li-ion 3.7 V / 3.8 V (IMR) — common lithium cylindrical cells (18650, 21700, 26650, etc.). LiFePO (3.2 V) — safer lithium cells with a lower nominal voltage. The chemistry must be manually set via the MODE button on our charger. Please indicate this chemistry clearly when sending in your battery. 9 V Ni-MH — rechargeable 9 V block batteries only. Single-use (non-rechargeable) 9 V batteries are not accepted. Single-use (non-rechargeable) batteries of any type are not accepted. 4. Condition Requirements for Sell-In Batteries sent to us must not be swollen, leaking, physically deformed, corroded, or otherwise visibly damaged. Bruncsoft reserves the right to refuse batteries that do not meet these criteria and to safely dispose of rejected batteries without obligation to return them or offer compensation. 5. Buyback Pricing The buyback price offered for batteries sent in by customers is determined individually, based on battery type, chemistry, estimated capacity, condition, and current demand. The offered buyback price is typically lower than the retail price of a new equivalent battery. Bruncsoft is not obliged to accept any battery submitted or to offer any specific buyback price. The customer may decline the buyback offer, in which case Bruncsoft will safely dispose of the battery or return it to the customer at the customer's shipping cost. 6. Product Availability and Sale Order Products listed in Battery Exchange are offered for sale on a first-come, first-served basis. Bruncsoft is not obligated to withdraw any listed product from sale for any particular buyer, and is not required to hold or reserve a product. A product will be sold to the first buyer who submits a valid order inquiry, meets all stated conditions (including geographic eligibility, payment, and any other requirements stated at the time of sale), and whose inquiry is confirmed by Bruncsoft. Adding a product to the cart does not constitute a reservation or a binding purchase. 7. Delivery Purchased batteries are shipped to the buyer via Packeta — to a pickup point or address of the buyer's choice within Packeta's operating countries. Shipping costs are covered by Bruncsoft and are included in the listed price; no separate shipping fee is charged to the buyer. Estimated delivery timelines are confirmed per order at the time of inquiry. 8. Returns and Refunds If a battery is materially different from its listing description (e.g., incorrect chemistry, form factor, or condition), buyers may request a return within 14 days of receipt. Bruncsoft will refund the purchase price upon confirmation of the discrepancy. Return shipping in cases of genuine mislabelling or defect is covered by Bruncsoft. 9. Limitation of Liability Bruncsoft's liability in connection with Battery Exchange is limited to the amount paid for the specific product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of batteries purchased through Battery Exchange. 10.
